In need of cabinetry and countertops for their renovation project that included an addition where the new kitchen would go, TRU Construction reached out to us to finalize the cabinetry design within the kitchen, pantry, laundry, and mudrooms. Looking for a current and modern aesthetic, rift cut white oak was selected for the kitchen cabinetry in a slab door style, and paired with tab pulls for a clean look. As a complimentary accent, back painted glass doors were utilized around the range hood. Dekton countertops are used throughout, with a more dramatic pattern accented on the island top. Frameless cabinetry was utilized to give a more modern feel and maximize storage, however open shelf cabinets in the pantry were ordered in a framed product line for a sturdier visual.

As the builder was framing the new window, the client requested that the sill be a flush continuation of the countertop material. Quick coordination between the builder and our team of our cabinet height, while taking into consideration the future flooring thickness, allowed the builder to easily make framing adjustments. Care was taken by our installer during cabinet installation to verify the height would match up for the countertop placement.
